Murano with a stop at the furnaces and visit to the glass museum
It is the largest of the islands in the lagoon. During the visit of the island a stop at the furnaces is a must where a master glassmaker will demonstrate the processing (always explained) of both blown and modeled glass. Don't miss the glass museum and the Church of S.S. Maria and Donato a masterpiece of Venetian-Byzantine art.
Excursions to visit the islands of the Venetian Lagoon can last 4 hours – 6 hours – 8 hours.
Departures are from Punta Sabbioni, Tronchetto or San Marco.
